Australian Olympian Aaron Royle makes his debut over the long distance in Roth
Another top triathlon star has confirmed his entry for DATEV Challenge Roth 2025. Top Australian athlete Aaron Royle will compete in his first long-distance event on the legendary course in Franconia.
Wants to finally experience the race for himself
‘I am extremely excited to race my first full distance at Challenge Roth this year. Roth is a bucket list race so for it to be my first full distance is providing great motivation to make it a memorable one. I can't wait to experience the many good things I have heard about Challenge Roth this July.,’ says Royle.
Great success over shorter distances
Aaron Royle is one of the best-known names in international triathlon. The 2016 Olympian has already achieved numerous top performances over shorter distances and has focussed on longer races in recent years. He has regularly finished in the top ten in the Professional Triathletes Organisation races in recent years. He finished second at both Challenge Family The Championship in Samorin and Challenge
Samarkand in 2023.
With his start in Roth, he is now entering the world of long-distance triathlons - and wants to compete directly with the best.
