The 2025 race date is fixed
The world's biggest long-distance triathlon, DATEV Challenge Roth, will remain on the first weekend in July in 2025, with the date confirmed for 6 July.
Following constructive discussions, TEAMCHALLENGE and Ironman have jointly agreed on dates for Germany's biggest long-distance races, as has been customary in previous years. The aim of this coordinated scheduling is to ensure the best outcome for athletes, media, triathlon fans and expo exhibitors.
Race director, Felix Walchshöfer, emphasised the importance of co-ordinating the dates for the major German triathlon races and thanked Oliver Schiek from Ironman in particular. "The exchange with Oli has always worked perfectly, and I am very grateful for that. I would also like to thank the authorities for the uncomplicated dialogue when making appointments. It is only through these joint arrangements that we can provide the best experience for triathlon fans in Germany and the world."
Registration for DATEV Challenge Roth 2025 is expected to take place on 8 July 2024, one day after the race, on site in Roth and one week later online. The 2024 race was fully booked after just 40 seconds.
