German Paralympics hero makes his professional debut at DATEV Challenge Roth 2025
Martin Schulz competes over the long distance for the first time
At the 2024 Paralympics, he was the German flag bearer at the opening ceremony, and now Martin Schulz is tackling his next big goal. The two-time Paralympic gold medalist and reigning bronze medalist from Paris 2024 will make his long-distance debut at DATEV Challenge Roth on July 6, 2025. After a successful career in paratriathlon, the 34-year-old athlete is venturing into the long distance and will be competing in the top-class professional field:
“This year I will be making my debut on the long distance. It has always been my wish to do this in Roth. I'm looking forward to the atmosphere on the Solarer Berg and everywhere in the region this weekend.”
