‘’One more Roth‘’ for Laura Siddall
Last race in Roth for the 44-year-old at DATEV Challenge Roth 2025
The fans in Roth can once again look forward to crowd favourite Laura Siddall. She will be on the start line of DATEV Challenge Roth for the sixth time on 6 July and has been at Roth a total of nine times. It will be the 44-year-old's last race as a professional in Roth in 2025.
‘It's my favourite race’
The race is something special for Siddall: ‘I'm incredibly excited to get back to Challenge Roth this year, after the last couple of years of not being able to race. It's always been on my calendar and is my favourite race and the best. As I enter the last stages of my career, to be able to race Challenge Roth one more time will be special and to celebrate with all the locals, my homestay family, the volunteers, the team, and the region, that have become friends over the nine years I've been coming.’
A Roth institution returns
Laura Siddall probably knows Roth like the back of her hand. The Brit has experienced all the highs and lows of a long-distance race here. With two second places in 2017 and 2021 and three fourth places in 2016, 2018 and 2022, she has always been in contention for the podium. Even in the years when she was unable to compete due to injury, she often travelled to Roth to experience the atmosphere of the world's biggest long-distance triathlon.
Alongside Laura Siddall, Nikki Bartlett will also fly the British flag in Roth. TEAMCHALLENGE will announce further top athletes competing at DATEV Challenge Roth on 6 July 2025 in the coming weeks.
