World Championship fifth-placed Nikki Bartlett makes her ROTH debut in 2025
Nikki Bartlett, who finished fifth at the last Ironman World Championship, will be competing at DATEV Challenge Roth for the first time in 2025 and has dreams of finishing on the podium on 6 July.
The 37-year-old Brit is already full of anticipation for her debut: ‘Roth is absolutely everything this sport is about: community, crowds, hype and I’ve heard it’s the biggest triathlon party on earth.. I can’t wait to experience Solar Hill and that finish line in the stadium and all night long.
When I choose races I always target those which gets me excited, brings me joy and epic life experiences. Roth is one of the most iconic triathlon races out there, and I feel grateful to have been welcomed with open arms into the Challenge Roth community!'
She also wants to impress athletically at her first start in the Home of Triathlon: ‘My dream would be to have an Erdinger shower over the ladies and my head on the podium!’
Nikki Bartlett, one of Britain's most successful long-distance triathletes, has made a name for herself in recent years with several victories and podium finishes in long-distance triathlons. She has already won the Ironman Wales and the Ironman Lanzarote and came second at Ironman Frankfurt in 2022.
