Volunteering opportunities

Transition I
Description:

In transition zone I, our athletes have successfully completed the first discipline and you can support them in ensuring that the second discipline is just as successful. As a volunteer in T I, a variety of tasks await you. One thing is certain: you will be very close to the athletes and be able to experience the competition from a different perspective.

Bike course / Aid Stations
Description:

You want to cheer on our athletes on the bike course and also give them crucial support? Then support our team on the bike course.

Are you part of a sports club, a group of friends or another group? Then please contact us, as we are always looking for groups to support us at the supply stations.
Duration:

1 day (At some stations we have two shifts. It may therefore be possible for you to only help for half a day)

Transition II
Description: In T II, our athletes have already completed a large part of the competition. But we're about to start the marathon. This is exactly where they need your support in T II! Become part of the T II team and ensure that the athletes get off to a good start on the running course and get their bikes back after the competition.

  • Set-up of T II on Thurs. + Fri.
  • Dismantling of T II on Mon. + Tues.
  • Saturday, 4 p.m. Meeting and briefing in T II
  • Competition day from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m:
    • Sort change bags, hand out bags, accept and sort bikes     
    • Help in the tent with changing clothes (Only female)
    • Bike Check-Out from 17:30 until 23:30

Description:

Finish line
Description:

Things get really emotional in the finish area. For our athletes, it is the moment they have been working towards for so long. As a volunteer in the finish area, you will be there when our athletes reach their goal and often realize a lifelong dream.

Description:

As part of the festival site crew, you are right in the heart of the triathlon dream factory and help us make dreams come true. True to the motto of a former sports broadcaster: Right in the middle instead of just being there. Here you really work at the heart of the biggest long-distance triathlon in the world.
Duration:

Construction of the triathlon park begins two weeks before the race, so it would be ideal if you could support us for 5 or more days.

Volunteer Expo-Shop / Pop-Up Store
Beschreibung:

Do you enjoy (sports) fashion and working with customers? Then you are exactly right here! Become a part of the "Challenge World," including the new pop-up store at the Festival Market, and help us at the checkout, with sales, or restocking merchandise. 
Dauer: The shop is open from Thursday, July 4th to Monday, July 8th. Ideally, you would support us for the full 5 days.

Description:

Are you passionate about riding motorcycles and are confident riding with a pillion? Do you have your own motorcycle that is suitable for pillions and are a fan of DATEV Challenge Roth? Perfect! We look forward to your support, especially on the bike course.

2-3 days

  • Driving license class A or A2
  • reliability
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Teamwork skills
  • Local knowledge is an advantage
  • You should have pillion experience
Tasks:
  • You drive our race officials and TV producers on the bike course
  • The day before the race you will take part in test rides, the press briefing and the motorcyclist briefing
